Luxley’s Summer Of Growth and Joy

Luxley is a bright and joyful young girl whose days are filled with curiosity and fun. She loves reading, Roblox, riding her bike, and swimming.

Her caring and empathetic nature shines in everything she does. For the past three years, she has proudly participated in the Special Olympics, showing her dedication and athletic spirit through bowling and CrossFit. Whether she’s spending time with her family or making new friends at school, she has a remarkable ability to connect with people wherever she goes, leaving smiles and laughter every day.

Before coming to AdaptAbilities, Luxley and her family faced challenges during the summer months, with a lack of structure and support, making the season difficult to manage.

Once Luxley joined our Hearts in Action Summer Camp, she thrived! Camp provided the structure and support she needs, while her family feels more equipped and confident that Luxley is well-supported. The experience has also helped Luxley create new friendships and enjoy engaging and meaningful activities, all while exploring her community.
The positive impact is clear: her brother noticed that Luxley was in a better mood and able to self-regulate more effectively at home after attending camp. Luxley loved making new friends and embracing all the camp experiences, especially learning to navigate transportation on her own, increasing her overall independence.

AdaptAbilities has truly helped her grow, connect, and thrive in a supportive and enriching environment.
