Pause, and Take a Break

We hear it all the time. But it’s so hard to do! This past Wednesday, November 28, families and caregivers had the opportunity to pause & rejuvenate at our annual Respite N Rejuvenate event!

Thanks to Echo Promotions, kids & teens were able to participate in an evening of respite & celebrations! Teens and Adults headed off to Boston Pizza on Whyte Ave. for some pizza and goodies, and the kids hung out at McKernan Centre, munching on pizza and participating in holiday crafts like gingerbread cookie decorating and ornament creation!

With peace of mind knowing that the kids were taken care of – the families participated in a variety of self-care activities. We had massage therapists to help us relax,(courtesy of YEG MobileMassage), hair stylists to make us feel our best (courtesy of the Industry Hair Studio), phenomenal food & drinks to fill our soul (courtesy of AlleyKat Brewery & the catering team at NAIT), and even miniature Grinch Whoville tree workshops!
