Movin’ Onwards to Millbourne

It is an exciting time at AdaptAbilities! We are only a month and a half away from 2024. Our beloved McKernan House will soon be closing to make room for a new expansion! What does this mean for families? A new year with a new view!

In January 2024, AdaptAbilities will officially welcome participants to a new Centre at Millbourne Market Mall. As AdaptAbilities continues to grow, we are excited to bring respite closer to home for southside families in Edmonton.

In the community of Mill Woods, Millbourne Market Mall has been serving as a peaceful and friendly space for everyone with life’s necessities conveniently located nearby. With access to transit, parks, and other amenities, participants will get plenty of opportunities to explore the community.

Services at Millbourne Market Mall will include:

• High School Transition

How do I enroll?

We are currently offering Community Connect and High School Transition programs. Inquiries can be made through our Support Office by calling 780-431-8446.

Please note: Families new to AdaptAbilities must complete the intake process before registering for services. Call our Support Office or complete the Service Request Form and someone will be in touch! Families may be placed on a wait list if spots are full.

Will you have other programs offered in the future?

Yes! Currently, we are focused on filling spots for Community Connect and HST but look forward to expanding our programming at Millbourne Market Mall in the future, including Weekend Respite and Social Nights!

Can I tour the new space?

The space at Millbourne Market Mall is currently under renovation. Due to safety concerns, we cannot offer in-person tours at this time; however, you can check out a virtual sneak peek here!
